The college football arms race takes us to Jonesboro, Arkansas to Arkansas State’s Centennial Bank Stadium – a stadium that soon will have waterfalls in its north end zone.

The school says planned renovations for the stadium – which will “enhance our fan game day experience” – includes constructing waterfalls on each side of the north end zone.

(There is a rendering above and, man, it does look nice.)

The renovation also will include premium box seating, which will have food, two cash bars and private restrooms. In addition, a tailgate promenade will be available; fans can purchase a 10×10 tailgate tent for game days, which includes the use of private restrooms.

Arkansas State also is planning new facilities for its student-athletes, including a new weight room and training/rehabilitation area, a new locker room, position meeting rooms, a players’ lounge, academic rooms and a team-theater meeting area.
