As amazing as it is to experience an SEC game day, sometimes traveling in for a college football weekend can be less than ideal.

With high hotel prices and low availability in many SEC towns each game-day weekend, fans often book hotels miles away from campus. But with traffic, driving even 10 miles can take two hours.

Enter Rent Like A Champion, a college football vacation rental platform (and former Shark Tank success story) with huge houses for rent close to SEC stadiums … along with a simple message: How can we help college football fans get the most out of their game-day experience?

“We know that when you plan a trip to see your team play, it’s about more than just the game,” says CEO Mike Doyle, who’s been with the company since he was a student at Notre Dame. “It’s about the pre-game tailgate, sharing your experience with other fans and enjoying the weekend with your whole group.”

By working directly with homeowners near the stadium, Rent Like A Champion offer fans the opportunity to stay closer to their event (homes are often less than two miles from the stadium) and, most important, to stay together.

“When you book a hotel for a huge group, you end up booking three, four, even five separate hotel rooms — and after the game, everyone just goes back to their own room,” Doyle says. “A single home with Rent Like A Champion can house eight to 10 people — sometimes even more. So even after your event is over, everyone can still enjoying hanging out under one roof.”
